Automatic large format calendar machine

Specially designed for large formats our PB 799 can also be used to bind two calendars a time. Its high production speed makes the perfect machine for calendars specialists.

How does it works:

Calendars have simply to be placed on to the machine and collected at the end of the binding process. The machine punches the complete calendar in one stroke, then hangers and wire are inserted before everything is carried to the closing section to be bound. All this is done automatically.

Uses wires on spools.
Maximum binding size: 800 x 1000 mm.
Minimum binding size: 120 x 100 mm.
Possibility to punch and bind two calendars of maximum binding size 350 mm. in one time.
Possibility to apply one semiautomatic hanger feeder for 100-500 mm. hangers or two semiautomatic hanger feeder for 100-200 mm. hangers.
Maximum punching thickness per stroke is 4,5 mm.(depending on pitch, materials and size of the calendars).
Standard punching tool with 3,7 x 4 mm. holes.
Standard binding diameters: 1/4” (on request 3/16”,5/16” and 3/8”).
Standard pitch 3:1” (on request 4:1”).
Max. speed when processing one 800 mm. calendars: from 500 to 1400 pieces/hour depending on thickness and quality of materials.
Max. production when processing two 350 mm. calendars: 2500 pieces/hour depending on thickness and quality of materials.
Can be programmed for continuous binding, two pieces with hanger or skip-binding.
Can be connected to any kind of collator.
